News
Well done Class 7 for helping to collect litter at Llandaff Fields with rangers Richard and Jim, Special Police Constables Caroline and Bernie and thanks also to Richard from Keep Wales Tidy. As a 'Thank-You' for our work in the community we were given special litter pickers and jackets to help us keep our school playground looking tidy too.

Here is a little curriculum information for you:
Religion:
Our current theme is Stewardship.
Literacy:
As always, we aim to provide a rich and varied diet of reading material and associated tasks taken from the following genres:
Children take a weekly spelling test on Fridays. Spelling booklets are issued at the beginning of each term. The lists are designed to identify patterns and extend vocabulary.
All children need to spend at least 10-15 minutes reading at home, daily.
Similarly, 10 - 15 minutes should be spent on recalling multiplication tables.
Context - Imaginative Learning Project
This term our theme is 'Summer Camp'. See the Curriculum page for more information.
Cymraeg
Each day we nominate the Helpwr Heddiw who assists in developing the Welsh spoken in and around the classroom. We will be reading a story in Welsh (Anrheg i Aled) and carrying out related tasks.
Games
Please remember to bring kit on Wednesdays and Fridays and don't forget a coat for our walk over to the Welsh Institute of Sport. Children may also bring a plastic bottle of plain water.
