Collective Worship

Collective Worship

Collective worship is an important part of life at St Mary's School. As well as daily prayers, each class holds a collective worship in their classroom on the days that there is not a school assembly. The teacher takes responsibility for planning one session whilst groups of children take responsibility for planning the others. Each collective worship follows the same format: Gather, Word, Response and Mission. The children choose the music, artefacts, hymns and readings that they would like to use.
