Morning Nursery Gallery

Our topic is Muck Mess and Mixtures.

We have been having great fun in Nursery making a mess. From Jackson Pollack-inspired paintings to getting our hands dirty exploring lots of different messy mixtures, we have definitely needed our aprons this half-term!

We have been learning our shapes, drawing pictures, cutting them out with playdough and even going on a hunt around the school to find different shapes.

To help us remember, we have even made some tasty shape biscuits.

Little Green Guest

A special guest made an unexpected visit to nursery. A frog had escaped from the nursery pond and had to be rescued, but before he was returned home, the children got to have a closer look!.

Diwali: The Festival of Lights.

Children danced, sang and enjoyed their own festival of lights as part of Nursery's Diwali celebration. The festival which coincides with the Hindu New Year celebrates the victory of good over evil. The children dressed up, made Rangoli patterns, played traditional tabla drums with the help of expert Jeevan, prepared, cooked and tasted Pakoras as well as making salt dough candles - diyas in a very busy morning in nursery. A day to remember!
