OUR DAILY SCHEDULE

Every day children come to school to learn through role-play, exploration, song and stories.

As well as learning to mark make, count and communicate their feelings and opinions, our young learners are finding out all about the  world they live in and how to be good friends and confident, independent classmates.

The session begins with self-registration when children develop their independence by "signing" in to nursery by finding their name and putting it on the board. 

All pupils are then free to choose an activity before small groups or individuals will be called to work with a teacher on a literacy, numeracy or RE lesson.

The morning or afternoon session is broken up by "play-time" or "bike time" in our playground before snack-time, when children enjoy a social time with their classmates. 

The second half of the session will include a PSE lesson, which is usually delivered through Circle Time, an whole-class activity led by the teacher, before the children have another opportunity to choose an activity.

The final lesson of the day is usually Rhyme Time or Story Time before we get our coats, say prayers and sing our goodbye song.
