Fr Maguire celebrated the first mass of the new academic year and welcomed our new headteacher Miss Russell. We were joined by parents and parishioners for the celebration.

Miss Russell presented the Reception Class to the whole school, as well as giving a very warm welcome to older pupils who have joined St Mary's this academic year.
The reception children received a "Welcome Certificate" from Fr Maguire, which included their handprints, the date of their first day at school and a prayer.
