General information


PE is on a Tuesday and Wednesday.


Reading books are changed on Tuesdays and Fridays.


Year One spelling test is on a Friday.


Please remember your reading book EVERY DAY!



Curriculum Information


Our topic this half term is 'Pitter Patter Puddle Play'.

In Religion, our topic is 'Change' where we will be writing Lent promises, looking at how we can change during Lent to live more like Jesus and then listening to the Easter story.


In Literacy we are looking at a variety of books including fiction, non-fiction and poetry. We are continuing each week with our reading, phonics and spellings.


In Maths, we will be doing some topic work including money, time and shape and developing our counting skills.

Our role play area is 'The Hairdressers'.

We will be visiting Cosmeston Lakes to take part in pond dipping as part of our context in a few weeks time.
