A very big thank you to all the parents and familiy members who came to out Welsh Carnival.

It was a wonderful celebration to complete our topic 'Carnival'.

The children had worked hard to learn the folk dance and  songs, which they presented with great gusto!

You raised £55 for CAFOD, which has been match funded, so £110.  Many thanks.

Our Welsh Carnival

A reminder that the children will be doing PE tomorrow - Wednesday 11th March.

They will need kit and trainers please.  Many thanks.

Tomorrow, Friday 6th March we are celebrating our Welsh Carnival.  It starts at 2:45 prompt in the school hall.

Come and join in the celebration.

World Book Day. Here we are dressed up as characters from Woolly Wendy by Sian Lewis.

Next Thursday 5th March is World Book Day and the children have been asked to dress up as a character from a book we have read recently.  The book we have chosen is Woolly Wendy.  Wendy is a sheep, Bob is a mountain climber.  The setting is Snowdon!  Wendy is looking for the Snowdon lily.  Other characters include a lapwing bird and bees!

Next Friday 6th March Class 3 and 4 will be celebrating a Welsh Carnival to round off their Carnival topic.  The children can come to school dressed as they did for St. Davids. Parents are invited to come and share in the celebration from 2:45.  We will entertain you with  Welsh folk dancing, singing and a parade.  As if that wasn't enough incentive to come....there will also be refreshments.....tea and welsh cakes!!

Let us entertain you !

A date for your diary - Class 4 have a Liturgy on Thursday the 5th February at 9:15 in the Hall.  All are very welcome.

We made lava lamps to help the King of Sparkle light up Sparkle Town.
