Music Lessons

St Mary's values music education and the importance it plays in children's health and well-being. Each year we employ specialist music teachers, through Upbeat Music, to teach Nursery, Year 1, Year 3 and Year 5 music lessons for 6 weeks. Every class receives specialist music education four times throughout their time in primary school.  They learn to play a variety of music and instruments, including African drumming, Samba, Glockenspiels and Taiko (Japanese) drumming.

We are able to offer children individual and group music lessons through Cardiff and Vale Music Education.  Free group lessons are available for children who are eligible for free school meals. For more information click the link below.
